Transport of Tomorrow - Hyperloop
Melbourne to Sydney in 55 minutes
There is a new form of transport in the public realm: Hyperloop, a type of transport that defies logic with extreme speed, efficiency and practicality. A series of vacuum tubes from Melbourne to Sydney contain small pods that ferry people there and back at near supersonic speeds, but with the comfort and safety of first class.
This project was part of the Digital Design Studio at RMIT Industrial Design, where we had to create a speculative interior design concept of a Hyperloop. We had to work within strict package dimensions to ensure the concept would be realistic. This design is inspired by 1960’s Sci-Fi and Retro Futurism. The CAD was rendered on VRED and the final presentation was made in Virtual Reality. View the final poster below.
